Exceeding Expections

Since 1999 TeamFlorida Group has been providing commercial real estate service to clients in South Florida. TeamFlorida Group leases, manages and sells commercial real estate properties from Boca Raton to Homestead. In the early years the brokerage division of the firm did business as ComReal Property Services Group. In 2010 the brokerage group was combined under the TeamFlorida Group umbrella.

TeamFlorida Groups knowledge, experience and the ability to adapt to economic changes didn’t start in 1999.  

The founder of TeamFlorida Group, LLC is John M. Spire. Mr. Spire has been a lifelong resident of South Florida. The Spire family has deep roots in Florida, his wife, Christine, is a third generation Miamian whose grandfather was one of the few Judges in Florida serving in the late 1940’s to the early 1960’s. Mr. Spire Father owned one of the largest advertising agencies and was instrumental in the growth of Florida in the 1950’s to 1970’s. He was the driving force behind the advertising for the Port St. Lucie, Port Charlotte, Vero Beach and other developments. His agency was instrumental in selling millions of acres of lots with the slogan of  “$10 down and $10 per month” marketing campaign.

In the business world, Mr. Spire has been in the commercial real estate profession since 1978. He started with The Allen Morris Company and in 1983 he founded his own firm Spire-Harrison.  The Spire-Harrison organization grew to be one of the top 5 Commercial Real Estate and Property Management Firms in South Florida.

He has written numerous articles and has lectured on commercial real estate. In 1989 Mr. Spire and the Spire-Harrison organization help founded TCN Worldwide a real estate consortium of 53 independent firms, which provides professional commercial real estate services in 210 markets worldwide with over 1,200 brokers and salespersons.

In 1992 the Keyes Company acquired his firm and in 1999 he reacquired the business and formed TeamFlorida Group, Inc.

Over the years, Mr. Spire has leased, managed or sold over Four Million square feet of some of the largest properties in South Florida. He has served numerous times as a court appointed receiver and as an expert witness in real estate related matters. In addition to his

receivership duties, Mr. Spire has acted as a Special Master in the Federal Courts.

Mr. Spire is a graduate of Ransom School, where he was inducted in the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002 and The University of Miami class of 1974. Since the age of ten he has been involved in the sport of swimming. He is one of the few swimmers in the world who have been able to achieve the title of All American Swimmer in High School, College and Masters Swimming.
